"The Magic Flute." One of the most famous operas in the world at Hala Koszyki.

On Wednesday, April 19th, the mezzanine of Hala Koszyki will once again transform into a real opera stage. That evening, outstanding performers will present one of the world’s most famous operas, “The Magic Flute,” composed by W.A. Mozart. The event is free of charge.

“The Magic Flute” is a masterpiece composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and is considered one of the greatest works in the history of music. Despite being created over 200 years ago, it continues to captivate and move successive generations of listeners, carrying a universal message about the power of love and freedom.
During the 75-minute spectacle, artists will transport the audience to the extraordinary world of opera and the beautiful music of W.A. Mozart, performed by nine outstanding singers. These artists are associated with institutions such as the Teatr Wielki – Opera Narodowa, Warszawska Opera Kameralna, and Opera Królewska.
The event is part of the “Opera na Koszykach” series, another opportunity to discover that this seemingly demanding genre of music is for everyone. It is also proof that classical music can accompany us everywhere, even in Hala Koszyki.

“The Magic Flute” is the third installment of “Opera na Koszykach.” The two previous operas presented to the public last year, “La Bohème” and “Carmen,” were great successes and attracted crowds of viewers. It is our pleasure to popularize classical music. Thanks to such initiatives, we demonstrate that the most recognizable food hall in Warsaw is an excellent place to spend free time and an ideal space for promoting culture.
