Vincent and Portugalia Gourmet open in Koszyki

New tenants have been attracted to Hala Koszyki, the most popular food hall in Warsaw and its range of European cuisine has been improved. This year you will be able to buy Portuguese delicacies from Portugalia Gourmet and at the beginning of 2022, it will be possible to try the unique French breads and confectionery sold by Vincent.

Stuffed cakes from Lorraine, bûches de Noël rolls and Dordogne sourdough will soon all be on sale in Hala Koszyki. Famed for its French baked goods, the Vincent bakery and bistro is to open at the beginning of next year. However, already this autumn, a Portugalia Gourmet Portuguese delicatessen will await the visitors to Hala Koszyki. Both stores will be on the ground floor of the building.

Last year we extended most of our leases, which demonstrates the strength of our partnerships with our tenants. Additionally, we are continually adding variety to what is offered by Hala Koszyki to make it even more attractive to our guests. As well as the openings that have already been mentioned, new meeting spaces are to appear in 2022 as well as more brands to supplement the range offered by Hala Koszyki,
says Anna Merta, Leasing Director Retail at Globalworth Poland.
Five years after its opening, Hala Koszyki is still the most popular food hall in Warsaw and a place where people like to meet up. They are attracted by the superb food and the unique atmosphere. Our tenants, who have been with us since the beginning, know this very well. But this doesn’t mean we are no longer open to change so we are pleased to welcome two new concepts that have joined our tenants: Vincent and Portugalia Gourmet. Both of them will prove valuable additions to the range we offer,
says Weronika Kuna, Leasing Manager at Globalworth Poland.

The Vincent Boulangerie Patisserie is not only a bakery but also a confectioner’s and a bistro with unique hand-made French breads and cakes baked to traditional recipes with only natural ingredients. The brand was founded by Vincent Gauthier, a Frenchman born in Lorraine, who has loved good bread and high-quality foods since childhood. For the baked goods, the highest-quality flour and other ingredients are imported from France and as a result they have a truly French taste.

Portugalia Gourmet is a place that brings to mind sunny vacations in Portugal. Here you can buy what makes up the quintessence of Portuguese cuisine. There is no shortage of conserves, sardines and pickled fish as well as superb Portuguese wines and spirits. And for those with a sweet tooth the world-famous Pastel de Nata tarts are baked on site.

ABOUT HALA KOSZYKI
Hala Koszyki was built more than 100 years ago on ul. Koszykowa in Warsaw on the site of what was then the Koszyki grange farm. It was designed in the Art Nouveau style by architect Juliusz Dzierżanowski and in the autumn of 2016, it was reopened to become an exceptional point in the city for food as well as to meet up – a place where you can eat in dozens of bars and restaurants and buy groceries to take home. The complex includes 16,000 sqm of office space as well as a retail area of 6,500 sqm. The owner and manager of Hala Koszyki is Globalworth.
