Disco in the Drugstore | Hala Koszyki x Turnus x Szaber

Our dream has come true – we’re throwing another party!
Turnus in the drugstore is a nostalgic comeback to turnus disco nights, taking place in an abandoned store space. Games, dancing, fun! A drugstore’s inventory is full of associations… Mydełko Fa, soap bubbles, foam – all of it sparks our imagination and becomes the central theme of this gathering.
We’ve teamed up with Szaber Gallery from Kraków, which, like Turnus, was founded in 2020 and has a love for oversized objects. And what would a cosmetics store be without a giant comb, teeth, or…? Expect a wild night with a grand opening, unforgettable fun, and gigantic decorations!

Turnus was founded in 2020 as an independent art and curatorial collective led by Kamila Falęcka and Marcelina Gorczyńska. In June 2023, it opened a permanent space on Wolska Street in Warsaw, expanding beyond the traditional gallery model. Driven by the belief that art thrives in free, social environments, Turnus combines a rich program of exhibitions and events with a café space that fosters community connections.
Szaber was established in 2020 as a collective/gallery led by Michał Maliński, Paweł D. Zięba, Wiktoria Kieniksman, Olivia Rosa, and Sebastian Mikos. We don’t shout about how bad things are – instead, we butter both sides of the bread just to see which way it’ll fall. We create problematic exhibitions disguised in absurd aesthetics, guided by consistency, humility, grand vision, and cash – the last one just to make the other three easier to stick to. We claim emotions, we loot everything we can carry, and we care about keeping the atmosphere consistent within our own rules, with just a slight flirtation with the edge.
